Seven of the corporate world’s elite gather in pursuit of the top job at Dekia Corporation. What begins as a normal job interview quickly unravels as candidates fall prey to THE METHOD, a psychologically brutal recruiting system in which only one can remain.

The Method has participated in many different international film festivals, such as: Berlin International Film Festival (BERLINALE), Toronto International Film Festival, Vancouver International Film Festival, Río de Janeiro International Film Festival, AFI Los Ángeles, Mar del Plata International Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival, Göteborg International Film Festival, Bangkok International Film Festival, International Istambul Film Festival, Sydney Film Festival, Cleveland International Film Festival, Philadelphia Film Festival, 20th Fantasy Film Fest (Germany), London Film Festival, Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, Durban International Film Festival, Seattle International Film Festival.

The Method (El Método) is based on the Jordi Galcerán's theatre piece "El Método Grönholm", adapted by Mateo Gil and Marcelo Piñeyro, this is Marcelo Piñeyro's sixth film. It was first released in Spain in September 2005 reaching the number of 700,000 spectators. This film counts with the performances of Eduardo Noriega, Najwa Nimri, Eduard Fernández, Pablo Echarri, Ernesto Alterio, Carmelo Gómez, Adriana Ozores y Natalia Verbeke.  It was shot entirely in Madrid and co-produced by Alquimia Cinema and Tornasol Films (Spain) and Arena Films (Argentina).

"The question as to how far a corporate drone would go to land a high-level position at a multinational corporation is explored in Argentinean director Marcelo Piñeyro's back-stabbing boardroom drama that takes its name from a mysterious human-resources strategy imported from the United States as a means of choosing the best man for the job. As the time for a decision draws near, the streets of Madrid are awash with anti-globalization protesters; and the tension between job applicants Carlos (Eduardo Noriega), Nieves (Najwa Nimri), Fernando (Eduard Fernández), Ana (Adriana Ozores), and Enrique (Ernesto Alterio) comes to a head. As the corporate lackeys engage in an increasingly dehumanizing series of psychological games and scorching betrayals, the choice of who will ultimately take the reigns of the coveted position will ultimately depend on which applicant is willing to employ the most diabolical techniques of manipulation."
- Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

"The sum total of this gamesmanship is a suspenseful, funny film that touches on a corporation’s responsibility to society, the price of ambition, the persistence of workplace sexism, the destructive competition between women, and why it’s a good idea to take an extra shirt to your next interview."
- New York Times
