JOB DESCRIPTION

Graphic designer will be in charge of design and layout for archival, advertising and other promotional materials for the film festival, giving a consistent and professional look to all printed material generated in-house. Individual will work with Programming Department, Marketing Department, and Development Department, and with a Content Manager in order to generate printed materials on a timely basis.

REQUIREMENTS

• Skilled graphic designer with knowledge of international design trends.
• Two years of professional experience as a minimum.
• Book or Magazine layout and publishing experience.
• Own design suite with Adobe Creative Suite a must.
• Some understanding of Spanish language a must.
• Ability to thrive and be productive in a fast-paced, high pressure, multi-task work environment with tight deadlines.
• Detail oriented.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Candidate must be confident, fast, upbeat and a team leader.

MATERIALS TO BE DESIGNED AND PUBLISHED INCLUDE:

• Film Festival program catalogue (100+ pages).
• Film Festival promotional schedule.
• Film Festival postcards, posters, and fliers.
• Film Festival ads for newspapers and magazines.
• Film Festival award diplomas.
• Film Festival banners and displays.
