cine las americas presents:Friends of the Festival Anniversary Celebration The 10th Cine Las Americas International Film Festival started on April 19, 2007 with an Opening Night Screening at the Paramount Theater, and it continued through April 26 presenting the best of Latin and indigenous film. Guest filmmakers who visit Austin to present their work at the Film Festival will be in attendance at the fundraising celebration. This event was hosted by the Cine Las Americas Fundraising Committee: Amalia Rodriguez-Mendoza, Patricia Fraga, Andrea Angelo, Angeles Gomez Mesa, Michelle Valles, Quality Quinn, Raul Gonzalez, David Rice. Very special thanks to our host Keith Maples for sharing his wonderful house for this event, and to Firewheel Flowers for providing beautiful floral ornaments. |
