La palabra en el bosque tells their stories, placing them in context within the light of current reality.

Co-sponsored by the Austin Gay & Lesbian International Film Festival

As a member of a traditional Catholic family, Jorge Sosa had always been immersed in schools, activities and unions, in which his homosexuality generated an unbearable ideological conflict. This ended when he decided to completely move away from the precepts and practices of his religion. Then, years later, after receiving the counsel of a priest, he reconciled himself with his identity and now leads a church whose main mission is to promote this same reconciliation of faith and sexuality for others, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. Sosa's mission involves teaching about a god who promotes in his followers responsibility and full awareness of their freedom.
