Building tension throughout with a blend of reality and fevered imagination, this gripping domestic thriller depicts a community plagued, yet also aroused by, a permeating atmosphere of destruction.

Sérgio Bianchi was born in Ponta Grossa, Brazil in 1945. He graduated from the Communications and Arts School at the University of São Paulo and began his career in 1972. His features include Romance and Chronically Unfeasible. The Tenants is his sixth feature film.
