Welcome to the 15th Cine Las Americas International Film Festival!

 

The 15th Cine Las Americas International Film Festival runs April 24-29, 2012. This year's lineup presents almost 100 films ranging from independent and big budget features, documentaries and short films from all over the world including Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Spain, Portugal, Canada and the U.S.

 

The Cine Las Americas Film Pass grants the holder preferred access to all film screenings at the festival, including opening and closing night. It also includes exclusive invitations to festival parties, receptions and other special events.

 

An Early Bird discounted price is available for Film Passes purchased by April 6, 2012.

 

You can purchase a Film Pass on-line through Brown Paper Tickets, or you can buy it in person at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar during the following days and times:

 

Monday April 23 from 2PM to 7PM.
Tuesday April 24 to Thursday April 26 from 12PM to 8PM.
Friday April 27 to Sunday April 29 from 2PM to 6PM.

REGISTRATION AND BADGE PICK UP

  • All badges can be redeemed at the festival registration table located at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar (1120 South Lamar Blvd., Austin, TX 78704).
  • Registration hours are:

 

Monday April 23 from 2PM to 7PM.
Tuesday April 24 to Thursday April 26 from 12PM to 8PM.
Friday April 27 to Sunday April 29 from 2PM to 6PM.


PARTICIPANT AND FILM PASS POLICY

  • Badges grant the holder access to all festival screenings.
  • A badge alone will not get you into a film. Individual tickets for each film must be picked up at least one hour before each screening.
  • Tickets for badge holders will be allocated on a first come – first served basis until inventory runs out.
  • Tickets for each day's screenings are available for pickup the day of the screening only, with the exception of Opening Night(*).
  • Only one ticket per screening per badge holder can be picked up.
  • Tickets can be redeemed at the festival ticket counter located at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar (1120 South Lamar Blvd., Austin, TX 78704).
  • Ticket pick up hours are:

Monday April 23 from 2PM to 7PM (* Opening Night tickets only).
Tuesday April 24 to Friday April 27 from 12PM to 9:30PM.
Saturday April 28 from 10AM to 9:30PM.
Sunday April 29 from 10AM to 6:30PM.

  • Seating for badge holders will begin half an hour before each screening.
  • Badge holders that are not seated 10 minutes before the announced start time are subject to have their tickets allocated to general admission stand-by sales.
  • This badge is nontransferable. Please be advised that you may be asked to show identification for verification and proof of registration. After you receive your badge, it is your responsibility. We do not replace lost badges.
