Eugenio del BosqueEugenio del Bosque currently serves as Executive Director for Cine Las Americas in Austin, Texas. Since his involvement as Program Director in 2002, Cine Las Americas has presented more than 300 films at its annual film festival, and at various screenings throughout the state. Eugenio has spent several years focusing on cultural and artistic exchange between Latin America and the United States by fostering visiting filmmaker programs and promoting works by Latin American and indigenous filmmakers. He has worked as a writer, producer, and editor for independent and documentary film and video in the United States and Mexico since the early nineties. A native of Mexico City Eugenio earned a BA in Communication Sciences from ITESM in Monterrey, Mexico. |
